Website SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
This is a very controversial subject, and a lot of companies are charging a LOT of money for these services. Some of the techniques used can cause problems with search engines like Google, who want a true reflection of the value and content of your website.
We design sites using CSS for quick rendering and ease of updating; this also allows us to structure your site the way Google expects a legitimate business site to be structured—and the content in your site can be indexed by Google without any problems. We will help you write the content to maximize SEO, assign metadata that search engines look for and update your content yearly (or more often if you have new content in the Deluxe and custom site packages). All of these things will make your site search-engine friendly.
Website function
We design our sites with optimized images so that they load as fast as possible (using CSS helps with that also). We make navigation easy to use and accessible for disabled users. We can design Flash banners for you but we advise very limited use (or none) of Flash in your site as it limits the ability of search engines (like Google and Bing) to index the content in your site. Flash content won't even show up on iPhones and iPads, you will just have a big hole!
